Celebrate National Canoe & Kayak Day with a FREE paddle event on Belle Isle. This event is FREE and open to the public. Some kayaks and canoes will be available at a first come, first serve bases.

Registration is strongly encouraged but not required. A recreation passport is required to enter Belle Isle Park. Meet at Woodside Shelter, near Lake Okonoka, on the north end of the island.

This event is in partnership with Black to the Land, Belle Isle Conservancy, and Downriver Linked Greenways.
