River Ride with Friends

  • Elizabeth Park 4250 Elizabeth Drive Trenton, MI, 48183 United States (map)

This year, Downriver Linked Greenways is giving their annual bike ride, formerly known as the Tour de Tom, a fresh new look. With our growing focus on trail development along the Detroit River, we are excited to introduce River Ride with Friends.

The event will feature a scenic 14-mile ride beginning at Elizabeth Park, traveling through the City of Gibraltar, and finishing at the southern end of Lake Erie Metropark. While the full ride covers 14 miles, it is designed for everyone with optional turnaround points along the route for those who prefer a shorter ride.

We are proud to highlight Programs to Educate All Cyclists (PEAC) as this year’s featured organization. Based in Lincoln Park, PEAC’s mission is to empower individuals with disabilities through cycling, active transportation, and self-advocacy education. By registering for this ride, your participation directly benefits PEAC, as all profits will be donated to support their work. To learn more about PEAC, visit: bikeprogram.org

This event is partnership with Downriver Linked Greenways, Destination Downriver, Programs to Educate All Cyclists, and Huron-Clinton Metroparks.
